Our mission is to bridge the gap between tech and community

LA-Tech.org was founded by tech founders and CEOs to support our hometown. We want to increase economic opportunity for LA’s low income students and disconnected communities.

Why? First, it’s the right thing to do. We want to give back to the community that has allowed us to grow and be successful.
Second, by investing in local talent, we ensure the diverse and vibrant future of our growing tech sector. Lastly, we want to give the many people in our community who are looking for ways they can personally make an impact on our city a way to do so.

We are working to create generational economic opportunity and change in our own backyard

The 1,000 Intern Initative is an ambitious program started by LA-Tech.org and LA’s tech community. It is designed to provide internship and entry level job opportunities to low income communities of color and other groups who have been historically disconnected with equal opportunity in the tech sector.

Are you a student looking to put your skills to work in a real-world internship experience?
