The 2024 LA Tech IT Career Academy Powered by Microsoft is
our fourth academy partnership with Microsoft!
Our Ideal Candidate
Applicants should:
Exhibit enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn
No prior work experience required
Demonstrated interest in IT & Cyber Security (e.g., coursework, an entrepreneurial project)
Have genuine interest in developing your leadership, teamwork and communication skills
Demonstrate a strong desire to learn about career tracks in tech companies in the areas of Cyber Security, IT, and AI
Be ready to make a move to pursue a career in the tech industry
Be motivated, engaged, mature students who want to attend an intensive program that will be fast-paced, demanding but also a lot of fun
Demonstrate a strong desire to network and build relationships with your peers
Academy Information
Duration: 12 Weeks
Commitment: 10-15 hours per week (will include solo and group work during business & after hours)
You will be required to attend each zoom Tuesday and Thursday evening session unless otherwise discussed with program staff. Sessions typically take place during the 3:30-6:30PM window, with the majority of sessions starting at 4PM.
Start Date: Thursday, August 29, 2024.
