Francisco Fernandez
Francisco is from Tijuana, Mexico and grew up in South Central Los Angeles. He is a DACA recipient and a former student at Santa Monica community college, recently graduating from UCLA with a BA in Global Studies (c/o 2020),
After graduating, Francisco wanted to embark on a career in tech and enrolled in a Computer Science program, to better understand the realistic possibilities and limitations Technology can offer us in crafting practical Solutions to our problems.
Francisco was part of the South LA intern initiative program, interning with GOAT in August 2021. Recently, he got offered a full-time position as junior systems project manager at GOAT.
