Marialuisa Ferro joined LA-Tech.org as Director of Strategic Partnerships in April 2021. She is the strategic driver of key partnerships in LA's tech ecosystem as well as heading up Communications and Marketing. 

Marialuisa has built out our tech company relationships to support our overall goal of placing young people from underserved communities in tech opportunities.

Marialuisa comes from a Communications and Project Management background predominantly in Social Justice and Social impact organizations. She joined from LA-Tech.org’s board company, SUMA Wealth and before that was at Poderistas. Previously, Marialuisa worked as Communications and Delivery Manager for FutureGov - a change agency focused on building  21st-century public sector organizations that are catalysts for change in the internet and climate era.

In her free time, Marialuisa enjoys going to the theatre, discovering new LA eateries and taking care of LA-Tech.orgs' Chief Comforting Officer, Jackie the dog.
