Ruby Cisneros is the Senior Manager of Talent Development. In her role, she has increased the portfolio of partnerships, resources, and community partners across Los Angeles while engaging scholars in meaningful tech-enabled programming. Her mission is two-fold: to empower talent historically disconnected from the tech industry while ensuring members have the essential tools and community to succeed and persevere in their careers. 

Before joining LA-Tech.org, Ruby worked as an Outreach and Recruitment Specialist at Long Beach City College, as a Graduate Assistant for Student Leadership at Compton College, and as an Instructional Aide for Cal State University, Long Beach. Throughout all, Ruby has served with a passion for social good and a newly embraced interest in the tech industry. Her passion for educating and creating culturally responsive programming has motivated her to pursue roles in which she can positively impact her community

She received her B.A. from Cal State Long Beach in Psychology then went on to receive her M.S. from Cal State University, Fullerton in Higher Education Leadership. 

In her downtime, you can find Ruby chasing adrenaline-filled adventures, attending concerts, or exploring new countries.
