Partnership Case Study
In Summer 2020 and 2021, LA-Tech.org partnered with Snap Inc. to host the 4th annual Snap Design Academy, a hands-on, eight-week design training program for 15 community college students from Los Angeles. All students received a stipend including wifi and at-home expenses to participate in the academy. Each student participated in custom, creative workshops, fireside chats and mentorship with Snap Inc. employees and L.A. artists.
